Like with all members of the Emperor's Coven, Eda possesses virtually no respect for Kikimora due to her loyalty to Belos and considers her to be among the worst of the emperor's followers due to her apathetic and power-hungry nature. In turn, Kikimora looks down on Eda in contempt for her status as a wild witch, viewing her as a lowly criminal and cretin. After Eda was captured and sentenced to petrification by Belos, Kikimora served as her executioner, having personally activated the spell that nearly turned her to stone permanently, had it not been for Luz's timely arrival. Eda holds a grudge towards Kikimora for this, which only grew as she came to occasionally cause trouble for both her and Luz, first at Latissa and later at Eclipse Lake. During the latter encounter, however, Eda expressed some pity for Kikimora's declining sanity, though she permanently abandoned these sympathies after learning how her actions nearly resulted in Amity getting killed. In "Watching and Dreaming", Eda is overjoyed to be reunited with Luz, and is happy and proud that Luz's palisman has hatched.

During the Day of Unity, Eda allows herself to be branded with a Bard sigil by the rebel group Covens Against the Throne so she can sneak in and disrupt the ceremony. When the plan fails, Raine pulls off Eda's sigil-branded arm so that she would not be subjected to the spell. She and King reunite with Luz upon her return, and they work together to befriend the Collector and, with Raine's help, destroy Belos for good. In the epilogue of the series, Eda becomes a teacher at a school for wild magic and gains a hook hand. Luz Noceda (voiced by Sarah-Nicole Robles) is a 14-year-old Afro-Dominican-American girl from Gravesfield, Connecticut who ends up on the Boiling Isles and becomes Eda's apprentice and a new exchange student at Hexside Academy. Luz loves all things fantasy and magical, wanting to become a witch even before receiving training.
Luz then speaks up, revealing that she was listening all along, while also agreeing that she would probably say everything that was just mentioned. The two happily embrace after having spent so much time apart under the circumstances at the time, with Luz promising to take Amity out on a real date afterwards. This leads to the two sharing their first kiss on the lips, with Amity getting flustered about initiating it while Luz gets flustered that her reaction was "Oh, crikey".

As Luz gets taken away, she desperately tells Eda that she'll do whatever she says, only asking that she fights back. Later, Luz is rescued, and is relieved upon finding out that Eda is alright and that a group of rebels has a plan for stopping the Day of Unity. Afterwards, Eda shows Luz that she managed to find the palistrom wood among the items taken from the Owl House, and they start carving Luz's palisman. After exiting the memories, they see the shadowy figure and work with the child to subdue it. Hunter confronts the Inner Belos, only for Belos to sink him into the ground of his mindscape to kill him. When Luz and Belos are alone, he admits to being a witch hunter and reveals his true identity, Philip Wittebane.
He was initially frightened of Luz when he first met her, but warmed up to her when she helped him. King wants to be seen as "cool" and claims to have vast knowledge of all monsters and demons, though some of it might be based on his own false presumptions. While he is quick to poke fun at Eda, he cares about her and wants to help repress her curse.

The following day, Luz helps Camila out at the veterinarian clinic and puts her egg under a heat lamp, hoping it would help it hatch. When Luz and her mother arrive home, Hunter tells her he saw Belos and the pair search the old house to find only a possum. They conclude Belos is not there, but Luz promises Hunter she will keep him safe, saying that he is family now, and they head back to her house. The others are working on their Halloween costumes and Amity suggests she and Luz go as Hecate and Azura respectively.
Flapjack was the palisman of Luz's friend Hunter, whom she first encountered in "Hunting Palismen" when she and her fellow Hexside students were selecting their individual palismen. During this first encounter, Luz was shown to be fond of Flapjack for his cute appearance, though was disappointed and frustrated when numerous times she found herself unable to bond with him or the others. Despite this, they seemed to have developed a quick friendship with each other, with Luz enjoying Flapjack's company, while he showed his care for her by listening to her when she opened up to him and the other palismen and later freeing her from Hunter's restraints.
However, by the end of the episode, he becomes more accepting of the students' desire to learn more than one magic type after Luz and the Detention Track Students save the school from a Greater Basilisk using their mixed magic skills. When Emperor Belos announces his intent to petrify Eda, Bump is among the people who disapprove of this, claiming she helped him regain his love of teaching after she left Hexside. In season two, Luz begins teaching Eda and Lilith to use glyph magic as she searches for a way home. Unbeknownst to her, there is a doppelgänger posing as her while living with Camila. She also begins to realize that Amity Blight has a crush on her, with the two of them becoming a couple in "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door". Luz eventually uses a portal to see her mother, and discovers an opportunistic yet kind young basilisk named Vee was posing as her.
King realizes that Eda is telling the truth and tearfully runs off, forcing the remaining Owl House residents to find him. Luz manages to find and console King, and when the duo return to Eda, King forgives the witch that adopted him years ago, but states that she has to be honest with him from now on. Despite being banned from Hexside, Luz still wishes to attend the school, but Eda is against the notion, to the point where she states would rather watch the school burn down than have her attend. Her apprehension for Luz's enrollment stems from her belief that Hexside suppresses anything unique in favor of conformity, and she does not wish for Luz to conform to the coven system. However, while having a conversation with Hooty, Eda realizes that her beef with Hexside is a personal matter, and that Luz deserves a chance to form her own conclusions on the matter.
When they are cornered by the three groups pursuing each of them, she switches the three back to their original bodies, and switches the bodies of the pursuers. The Collector (voiced by Fryda Wolff) is a childlike being of immense power who is the last of a race of long-lived, powerful beings from beyond the stars who preserve worlds and exterminate troublesome specimens. The Collector disagrees with his kind's methods and desires to befriend other beings, despite his lack of understanding of the impact of death on mortals.
